What is the process of collecting a body kit from ocean ports who came from abroad?

Im import a kit from the USA (California) in Melbourne, Australia direct to the ports door to door cost an additional $ 500 more. What is the process of actually picking up the kit? Ive never imported anything directly to the ports before so any advice on actually picking up Many thanks in advance would
